What the chapter will run
These are the recurring event types the chapter is planning. None of them are scheduled yet, and the dates depend on the chartering timeline.
Contractor Nights
Members and industry partners in one room at a distributor’s counter or a member’s shop. Short program, long conversation, food. Held monthly once the chapter is chartered.
Members & partners
Lab & Jobsite Tours
Walk the training lab, or walk a member’s active job. The best recruiting tool the trade has is letting people see the work.
Open to the public
Code & Safety Training
NEC code update cycles, OSHA 10 and 30, and continuing education for license renewal. Scheduled around the state’s renewal deadlines.
Members first, open if seats remain
Apprentice Competition
Chapter-level skills competition for apprentices, with the winner advancing to the IEC national competition. Starts once there are apprentices to compete.

Annual Meeting
Officer elections, budget, training committee report and the year ahead. One evening, voting members only.
